Seven Indonesian State Universities Top Asia 2015

JAKARTA - Seven state universities (PTN) in Indonesia was ranked the best university in the 2015 Asian version of the QS World University Rankings. It is an achievement that is quite encouraging for the seven universities in Indonesia from 300 universities in Asia are screened.

Reporting from topuniversities, 'Top 100 of the 2015 QS University Rankings for Asia', University of Indonesia (UI) is ranked 79 with a score of 57.50. Ranked UI is still under Chang Gung University who was ranked 78 Asian and UI position above the Beijing Institute of Technology who is in the order of 80 Asia.

While, for the 300 best universities 2015 version of QS University Rankings for Asia, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is ranked 122 Asia, with a score of 46.6. Meanwhile, the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM) rated 147 as the best universities in Asia with a score of 43.1.

Followed, Airlangga University (Unair), Surabaya, which is ranked 147 Asia with a score of 43.1. Then, Padjadjaran University (Unpad) ranked 161 in Asia. Then, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is in position 120 Asia and the University of Diponegoro (Diponegoro) was ranked 251 Asia, while in the world ranking is ranked 701 Undip world.

Best Asian university rankings 2015's where QS World University highlighted the 300 universities in Asia. The methodology is designed to reflect the challenges and priorities of each state universities in Asian countries. There are six indicators into QS assessment this time, the academic reputation, the reputation of an employee, the ratio of students in each faculty, the number of subjects per faculty, as well as the number of international students and international faculty.
